Huh? The orca is saying that they're interested in hearing about orcas?

Orcas have different ecotypes that don't normally interact. Like, fish-eating orcas don't tend to mix with mammal-eating orcas.

It's more that Amka treats different orcas in different ways. The mammal-eating orcas are a distinct threat to her and her friends (mostly seals and dolphins) and she uses her abilities to remove them from her territory with prejudice. But Veo's from a fish-eating clan; those not only aren't threats, but to her they are often friend-shaped. And she's as curious as any Sperm Whale; she loves hearing about the lives of others not like her.

But those same abilities that allow her to remove threatening orcas, she can also use to help out Veo...
