I had the wonderful opportunity to finallllly draw Dandy for S-ibbi @ dA AND I was super thrilled to be tasked with rendering my first Gorgonopsid character. It's always been a goal of mine to be able to draw the extinct species, but I was too intimidated for a long time, YEARS!

So when S-ibbi asked me to take on Dandy's design, I was both elated AND intimidated, but I really do enjoy the end result. It took a lot of 'trusting the process' and referencing paleo art concepts, and some head skeletons, but it was super fun and right up my alley.

Definitely makes me more interested to take on more paleo/extinct work, as it's always been an extremely interesting concept to me I've loved but hadn't felt I could do justice, but this.. this makes me excited to try more! Heart
