Sorry, Aladdin's Genie just popped into my with legs when he was freed, & then this happens. XD
Could be wrong, I haven't seen her trapped with one... She has golden bangles, & Game Theory's Shadow as a Genie theory by Game Theorists (crazy, I know.) said the bangles indicate she's still a slave.

Agreed. Finally glad that's something we can agree on.
What I'm saying is, more info is always useful as well. Quite nice in literature as well. ;3 Maybe Tsuki disguised herself as a normal anthro while not in Genie form until Viola was ready, & gave her a special surprise as well? That would certainly explain their kiss, she was ready for a relationship. ;3

💡 Ah! I've got it! Viola went diving underwater for buried treasure, but got more than she bargained for! She found an [GENIE VESSEL (lamp, chamberpot, pot, incense burner, etc...) ] in [INSERT LOCATION HERE]
But when she rubbed it underwater a mermaid came out instead. That's when Viola recognized her as a Genie, as Mermaids don't come from nothing. At first, Tsuki tried to trick her that she was an actual mermaid. Being a Clever Djinn that she was, when they surfaced onto The Shore, Tsuki made it appear she was actually a mermaid. Then Tsuki revealed she actually lied about that... Then, her Djinn Form appears. Tsuki explains how she wasn't happy about being woken up, & was curious about how they got underwater.
So, Tsuki offered Viola a lifetime wish oppertunity: (You make up the wish rules, probably Aladdin's Genie, or Norm Genie rules that are rule-free???) Still, 3 wishes was a lot to ask for. She asked her without wishing to tell what she thinks she remembered as well, in order to investigate how she ended up down there in the first place.
You can make up the story from there, I sorta adlibbed this one a little to fill out.
