Actually, I don't think it DOES all the time. Pinkie Pie would be my primary example.
For some people their "purpose in life" has very little to do with their source of income, yet they are very happy.

What does Pinkie Pie do for a living? Maybe she's on public dole because of her crippling mental illness.

Canonically she works at Sugarcube Corner, selling (and perhaps baking) all sorts of sweets. She may or may not be a paid party-planner.

As for her mental illness, I am reminded of a joke...
Some people drag their relative to a shrink for treatment.
The Shrink says: "So what is wrong with him?"
And the Family says: "He thinks he is a chicken."
So the Shrink says: "I see. And how long would you say this has been going on?"
Then the Family says: "About three years."

ITS JUST UNDER 9000! Twilight totally went at least SSJ2. So bad ass Noben, its always awesome watching this go from sketch to finished work. Only thing I'd say (unless this is what you were going for) that the highlights and shadows blended together a little more, for a more "seamless" and smoothed out look, but thats about the only thing I'd suggest.

It was super fun to make.

If you mean on the spot around the forward facing hoof where you can see the individual brush strokes and aren't blended, that can be chalked up to outright laziness and just wanting to be done with the pic.

Yeah, the front and back on the same side, but I gotcha. Its a personal pic, so doesn't have to be perfect :D

That really showed that you cannot judge something by how it looks, I bet most haters actually haven't seen the show, it's pretty good actually, considering all the sh*t we've seen lately on air; nice voice acting AND IT IS ACTUALLY FUN TO WATCH (I love Fluttershy)... but then... I feel lot of shame sometimes for liking that show, or more than that, from what people would think if they know I like it, bet I'm not the only one that thinks this way... meh maybe I'll just tell them to watch it and tell them afterwards: SO, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING ABOUT ME LIKING THIS? sigh... Oh wait, I'm a furry! so what the hell do I care about people liking or not what I like?

You might want to edit WHICH episode this is regarding (in addition to Boast Busters) into the description (It is "The Cutie Mark Chronicles" Episode 23), since I was halfway down the comments list before I figured it out.

She has another of these moments in Season 2 Episode 1... the results are interesting in a THIRD way from the previous two "THIS is what it means to be a magical unicorn." (Season 1 Episode 2 was more "This is what it means to be a magical unicorn, backed up by the power of 5 other badass souls, focused through a set of world-class magical artifacts.")

I've not watched anything from season 2. Refraining from spoilers would be great, thanks.
