I drew this pose in 2004, just for fun. The original was huge: carbon, charcoal, and graphite pencils on yellowed, 15 x 20" illustration board. It currently has a good home, thanks to

Well put Dereck.
I'm proud to own this Roo. Like you told me, you really had fun with the backgrounds and textures in this and it shows.
However, I'm prouder to call you a furriend, always.
I hope you do more works like this- yes, I know it does take a lot of time and effort- but the end result is well worth it.
...And in the end, isn't THAT what being an artist is all about?

This one almost has the same old-fashioned tone as the bomber art you did for Passion cat. It has the feel of an old photograph or a pin-up from some yellowing magazine. It's very sexy and elegent and aluring; of course Shelia is perfect as the one doing the posing for only adding to that atmosphere.
I absolutely LOVE this work, Roo'! Everything from her sultry expression...to the pose...to all those fine details you put into it makes for a truly remarkable whole! The yellowed paper really brings out your pencils and makes this look like a treasured image of yesteryear! FYI when you want to do pin up girls, Roo'...you're in a league all your own!
