So this is my first run with the new mic :D I figured I'd pick a song I've meant to record properly for ages. I also wanted to dedicate it to two lovely people on FA

erca who both like this song (if i remember correctly that is :p!) and I did this with them in mind. This song is significant for myself and my boyfriend also and I can't wait to show him :)
I hope that people can tell that I've gotten a better mic. Personally I notice a significant difference so I guess that's the most important thing!

I know the balance is a bit odd on this... I am still exploring the new software/mic settings. Hopefully it sounds ok enough though X3

Can definitely tell the difference in the new mike, but I can't speak for anyone else - my ears are much sharper than most people's, and my hardware higher quality.
Also, I like the bits of the song where it's the single track of you singing instead of the layered vocals.

I also have a very keen ear. Sometimes it's a damn pain in the arse x-x like if I am annoyed by some noise outside when I am trying to sleep I get really annoyed... no one else would notice except me >=l

Hahaha! You are probably very right. I think this sums up what I do quite well :) Maybe I ought to choose some songs and pop them on my front page to give people a good idea of what I sound like generally. I've been thinking of that for some time.

Thank you so much Lily, this rendition IS...SO...BEAUTIFUL the new mic sounds so clear. The sound is more defined and more sharp, giving you more presence. Not that the old mic was bad, but this has definitely much more highs and provides a better sound.
This goes into my "feel-good music" folder for sure. :D
Funny that you recorded this song, for I tried to make a simple fingerpick arrangement for this song at the same, but I seemed to be stuck right now and this gives me some nice inspiration!

Aww. I would still sing over that backing if you ever become happy with it, I know the guitar/bass was giving you a problem with how it sounded. Silly guitars! XD

Yeah, Erca has one week off and she enjoys it, when I got her right, but she might tell you by herself, for I have send her the link to this submission. I am sure she will reply soon ^^

:D There's no rush or even any need to finish it. It's up to you. When I tried to sing before I found it quite difficult due to the heaviness of the original track, this version here is way more suited to my voice :3. I just didn't want to break an agreement, so just tell me if you're not worried about finishing it.

Eee~! I love Muse, and this song's very very pretty. I like a lot of Muse songs ebcause they have such lovely lyrics to them and the band although heavy sounding have some really moving songs. X_X I'd cover so many of them! This one seemed like it'd work in this sort of style and I am really happy with it too :3

Thank you so much XD I actually really like the way I did this one. I think it works well for the song, gives it a very sober and melancholy feel. A lot of Muse songs are really good transcribed in to this sort of sound I think. I love Muse! I have played this album tons too XD!
