There are some visual cues I really enjoy, such as the eye shape, mouth, and tufts of fur. I love the consistent curves of the tufts, really making the eyes, fur, and other features seem of the same, as I’ll put it, “writing style”.
I used to do stuff like that reasonably often. As in, drawing without ideas. I’ll have to pick that up again.
