My first book, which I actually DID submit, alas, it did not fit the publisher's needs, was Reports from the Second Armadillo-Chipmunk War. The uncompleted sequel, from which, all these pictures, involved a much stronger Armadillo Military getting ready in case the chipmunks--or anyone else--wanted 'another go.' These were all drawn from 1980 to 1983. At the least, you're getting a weird look at how the later Cold War affected a weird teenager with an interest in all things military, and who found Armadillos amusing and easy to draw.

When you've got all THAT stuff out there, you're gonna need one of these. At the risk of summoning Godzilla, or something out of Ray Bradbury.
