This creative thing was a product of a battle between a friend of mine, the assignment was to make something "sentimental". I spent most of my time limit looking for the the right sample haha.

I like it, man. Personally I thinnk you definitely build on it more, maybe add a clean guitar or two playing some melody underneath it. I thought I heard a piano, but I can't be entirely sure for a slew of reasons, haha.

It's a beautiful base, but I dunno if i'd call it done.

The piece was supposed to be a little homage to Steve Reich (I've been doing that a lot lately), his phase pieces in particular. It's more of a "roughly based on", because Reich uses short phrases played fast to do his phase thing, but I wanted something slower, so I just added two beats of silence so the song wouldn't last for eight hours haha. In any case, it's was an exercise in minimalism.

NICE. You bugger, I was going to do kalimba-into-echojam, but I don't have a kalimba XD okay, so you've proved that it's awesome... if I do something with this instrument I should shout out to you for proving it's worth getting a kalimba :)

I've got a kalimba, but don't really have a mic that would have done it justice, so I just scoured the internet for a good sample and piano roll'd that bitch XD
