This was such a touching artwork to get !!! I get so emotional every time I see it aaaaaaa such indescribable happiness ;O; this pose is sooo so so so cute!!! Absolutely fitting for these two haha! Poor birdsong just trying to get some rest and Kimae is excited as ever to do crafts or adventures - I love what a sweet little silly fellow he is in this picture awwwww I love his adorable smile and Birdsong's little grin too~ I really like how you drew Kimae's eyes too, those eyelashes are so pretty aaaaa!!! I greatly enjoy the way you use the background color to accent and separate parts of the lineart if that makes sense? it's really cool and makes certain features like ears and tails and the edges of faces stand out nicely! and gosh, I totally forgot to mention on the last one how much I absolutely ADORE the way you paint fur!!! It has the most delightful thickness to the brushstrokes that make it seem both very stylized and painted but with a realistic flare? It's so cool! The color choices you use for your shading are also always so very very fantastic! And I really admire how you can paint such richly textured fur and still make all the character's markings very clear and easy to see! It's certainly a wonderful skill c: your style is so unique and I am so delighted I stumbled upon your gallery when I did!
