The Final Frontier has its moments, like the scene where they fly the shuttle into the landing bay and the Enterprise shoots off just the missile flies by. And of course Kirk would be bold enough to question "God". It wouldn't be the first time he's had to take one down a peg or two.
It has it´s moment, I don´t denie that, but it its still a trainwreck. TMS, even thou it gets a lot of flak, is better in my opinion. Many people say that that TMS is too slow. The movie takes its time, true, but It is to give you time to take in its grandiosity. Also the V´ger reveal in the end is brilliant.
