this is my redesign of the alien race ive designed for my kaijuverse, the lacerci

Average height: 3 meters (baby height is around 50 cm’s)

Average weight: 200 kilos (baby weight is around 40 kilos)

Average age: 200 years

Gender differences: males has a bigger sail on the central back and has a larger crotch area like all reptiles and lizards has, females are more agile and has the ability to sing a very special sonic song which can daze males of other species or set them in a short trance, females also have an extra marking on their eyes and their chest has something similar to boobs however their use is unknown, males can roar really loud, voices of different individuals and genders are different as with humans.

Special abilities: lungs can take oxygen from the water contacting the skin but can also breathe normaly, they have gills, they have a very tough skin being nearly impossible to harm by normal kinetic attacks from most non mutated creatures but they are still weak to energy weapons like most creatures, can survive many different temperatures, very fast swimmers and can make underwater currents with their tails, good vision, immunity towards toxins and poisons and a high resistance to acid. They have poisonous bites as well, has a healing enzyme in their spit, all are very agile.

Home planet: lacercia. Big planet which is much bigger than earth and with most of the surface covered in water.

Intelligence: much better than human intelligence.

Common personality: the lacerci are a very calm and peace loving species. They have very advanced weaponry but they hate battling. However, they have no tolerance to cruelty towards their allies.

Technology: about half the way the phaestyllons are which means WAY infront of humanity.

Climates they’re suited for: tropical but can adapt to any climate

Age differences: no sail at birth, sail starts growing after a week, no poison before a year has passed, horn on snout at birth to break out of the egg easier, skin between their fingers at birth too.

Relationship to humans: allied and many lacerti live on earth while many humans lives on lacercia

Notes: the lacerci’s home planet, lacercia, is in a very distanct solar system, its located as far as in the nearest galaxy!
Their planet orbits two suns which at one specific time each year (lacercic years are the same as terran years) the two suns collide in a spectacular explosion. Earth’s solar system were discovered by a lacercian scout ship sent out to earth as lacercian scout drones had discovered life there. The scouts landed on the planet and explored it a bit before finding civilization, and kaiju even. It didn’t take too long before the lacerci and the terran races (humans and phaestyllons) had formed an alliance, and via a permanent portal created by colossicus on a planet in a tiny solar system orbiting the same two suns lacercia orbits (the other end of it being on the moon), travel between the two solar systems are easy.

Somehow, like the phasetyllons, the lacerti can mate with humans or phaestyllons and get non sterile babies
