                    That is true, I just think of Mantis's in terms of being unique in that they're the only species on Hollow Nest that's unaffected by the higher being (Radiance or Pale King) so I thought she was more playing off of that than mantises being a very sharp species naturally. Are mantises your favorite enemy, or is that something else?

                    Zytheria was born in a lab for a Hybridizing project to cross create humans and Xenomorphs more so then the natural process. She was born traditionally through chest burster. Although in her young stages she was identical to a normal Xenomorph. But as she matured into a drone her intelligence grew drastically and became more womanly. She was forcibly inducted into the WY mercenary program she was trained to kill, fight and obey. But her nature hated to be confused and controlled. She escaped and now lives on the move to sum up her personality. She is cautious, rebellious to authority due to her past she loves to trick people and is considered devious doing things that are not violently harmful to others she is ok with humiliation of anyone. Zytheria is cautious when choosing those she cares about and those she does she is extremely protective. In neutral status with someone she is friendly and uses her womanly features to tease others

                    Interesting, that actually reminds me of my xenomorph OC, Xernalia (who is actually my icon). She's a bit more free-spirited than Zytheria, but she is also a genetic experiment that got more human, but instead of her being experimented upon by another force, she more or less came up with her design by herself and implemented it before she bust out of her host's chest. She hasn't actually gotten out of her host yet in the story I'm writing featuring her yet, but she has said that she plans on non-fatally exiting him.
Her actual personality is highly eccentric- she's practically a god of bio-engineering with billions of years of inherited experience (from the genetic memory of previous xenomorph queens), and she's still new to this entire "having individuality" thing. So she's very invested in exploring what it means to be an individual, to not go with what an authority is telling her to do, or to figure out how communication can break down. She's only really trusting of Thomas, her (future) husband and (current) host, since he's the only human who can use psychic communication, and she finds all other forms to be inadequate. As such she only really shows her sexual side to him, since it's both being some kind of vulnerable (which is something she loathes) and he really doesn't like her showing off to other people.
Sorry for the long comment, I just really like my OC ;-;
