Major Sirius is a competent hero and has never really needed the assistance of other superheroes to help him get the job done. That's not to say he's unwilling to cooperate. Sirius is more than happy to lend a helping paw to other heroes! But Sirius has never really considered taking up a sidekick to work with him. That is until he met Eclipse Corgi.

Imagine Sirius's surprise to hear of another hero with similar powers to his claiming to be his protégé. Sirius's interest was piqued and one night he finally got a chance to meet Eclipse Corgi, a fellow Canisian who traveled the vast reaches of space find Sirius. Eclipse was all too eager to meet his hero and begged Sirius to take him on as a sidekick. While Sirius was a bit hesitant take on a sidekick; after seeing Eclipse's enthusiasm Sirius couldn't turn him down! While many know Eclipse Corgi as just being Major Sirius's sidekick, Sirius himself sees Eclipse as an equal; a fellow hero.

Eclipse Corgi works hard to be on the same level as Sirius and even hopes to be as cool as he does. However with his short stature and his overall appearance, Eclipse has gotten a reputation for being extremely adorable which unfortunately for him undermines all the work he puts in for his own image. It doesn't help that Sirius's favorite way of congratulating Eclipse for a job well done is some head pats and calling him "A Good Boy!". Sirius is a big fan of these himself so he just kind of assumed Eclipse would appreciate them too! Eclipse Corgi isn't the biggest fan of Sirius's form of "praise" as he feels that Sirius treats him like a little kid whenever he does it. But he can't deny that he does like a good headpat and being praised by his idol is the greatest honor he could receive. So for now Eclipse Corgi is willing to tolerate it.

Major Sirius always makes sure to let Eclipse know he's a great hero in the only way he knows how; a good head pat!
Sirius himself loves a good head pat but he's not aware that Eclipse Corgi doesn't really like them as much as he does...
Eclipse holds Sirius in high regard but he's not the biggest fan of being treated like a kid. (But he can't deny he does enjoy them!)
