This is a representation of a mix of recorded sounds underwater and my memories of sound I hear underwater. This is a semi-accurate representation of the things that appear in my mind when I hear these sounds. I see like static cracking noise all the time, as well as a constant dim fog of background noise. Splashes and thunks above change even only ten feet down, and become much deeper and darker and hollowish. Recorded noises are mostly painful and annoying. But hearing things directly is much better.

Now I do not have synesthesia. I have one step before that, where I see images or feel other things in my mind when I see/hear/feel/feel pain for various things. Not everything does it, but lots of different things--and sensations-- trigger visualizations like this. I can list a few...I wish I had synesthesia though cx
