Personality: Savanna Storm is a goofball through and through. He’ll never pass up an opportunity to crack a joke and he looks at any challenge with unbridled confidence and enthusiasm. Savanna himself is quite naive and with all the jokes he makes, it doesn't seem like he takes his work as a hero seriously. However Savanna Storm is determined to bring a smile to everyone’s faces.
Abilities: Wind and Weather Manipulation
Savanna Storm comes armed with the ability to control air as with a single deep breath he is capable of unleashing powerful gusts of air from his mouth. Savanna can also manipulate the air pressure around him resulting in changes in temperature or weather. He can summon a downpour of rain, cool the air around him to a freezing temperature, create fog, or even summon localized tornadoes.
Weakness:
Savanna Storm’s powers rely on two factors, his own breathing and his emotional state. Savanna Storm needs to be able to inhale and exhale to use his air manipulation to its fullest potential and finding a way to restrict his breathing will hamper his wind powers. On the other hand, Savanna Storm’s weather manipulation fluctuates on his mood, when he’s happy and cheerful he has better control of manipulating air pressure and conversely when he’s feeling down his control wavers. Also Savanna Storm is a sucker for a joke or bad pun and it’s easy to distract him by telling him jokes or letting him do an impromptu comedy act.
Background:
Abel’s childhood was anything but average being the son of both a supposed wind priestess and an eccentric explorer, Abel had always felt a connection to the sky and winds. Abel lived with his mother in a quiet coastal town in the Philippines with his father visiting from time to time, highlighting his recent expeditions and often taking the family along for vacations all over the globe. However during one of these trips the ship Abel’s family was on was caught in a storm and in the process of trying to help his parents, he slipped and was about to go overboard. As Abel’s parents desperately tried to get him to safety the storm intensified and sent Abel plummeting into the sea.
However before he could hit the water, Abel cried out for help and in that instant, a huge updraft flung him back aboard and the storm surrounding them began to clear. Abel lay on the ship, terrified, soaking wet, but safe and his parents knew that their son held a special gift. When Abel came to and learned about his newfound superpowers, his father recommended he attend a school in the U.S. to better understand and control his powers which Abel agreed to. At his time there however, Abel was inspired by the other heroes he saw and wanted to use his powers to help others and as such, Savanna Storm was born. Savanna sports an ever present toothy grin and loves nothing more than making (arguably bad) jokes and even keeps a list of some that he can use. Ranging from: “Looks like you’re feeling a bit under the weather!”, "Sorry, but I'm gonna have to rain on your parade today!" or even "This fight's gonna be a total breeze!". (He does put emphasis on the pun) However despite how how much he tends to joke around, Savanna Storm’s goal remains pure; to be a hero that makes others smile.

A wisecracking, bad pun loving hyena with a heart as big as the open sky!
Savanna over here holds a special part of my heart however, even more than Major Sirius who I consider my main OC.
I made Savanna Storm back in 2018 when I was still in high-school and he was the first Freeform toon I made in that game which was a big milestone for me at the time.
While I sadly got rid of some of the older heroes I had on that game as I really wasn't using them at all; didn't have the heart to get rid of good ol' Savanna and I'm glad I never did!
