*THERE IS A STORY BELOW THE DESCRIPTION*
It really seems like I've had a lot of different versions of Ankha drawn and designed. XD
I do love that Egyptian cat (the Zone and Minus8 videos certainly helping) and I just can't ever seem to get away from her for long as Mythkaz asked what I wanted as a birthday present...and I opted for more Ankha after he had just drawn a Shantae/Ankha mash-up. Rouge from Power Stone, Gerudo Link and Princess Jasmine all merged with the kitty, new interpretations to behold in a temple most hypnotic. So thanks a bunch, Mythkaz, for this glorious gift.
If you like what you're seeing, he does take commissions, though I ought warn you that he does have a long list of clients. https://www.deviantart.com/mythkaz/.....Info-585343115
And, if you enjoy my own tales and writing, I do have a Patreon you can check out should you be curious https://www.patreon.com/incredibleintruder
Now, how come those three are there...and who is beholding them? Read on and find out!

EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE, ALL ANKHA
Ankha was a mystery that needed to be solved.
Blathers wanted nothing more than to get to the bottom of just who and what this feline was. Everyone seemed to be infatuated with her for reasons unknown, the rather snooty and proud denizen of this island of theirs not entirely winning in a contest of personality. While he was more of a literal night owl and couldn't ascertain as to how she acted with everyone, with him he could not see her as anything else but conceited and entitled. She did enjoy the museum...yet her demand to have a whole wing dedicated to her was just outright nonsense. What was even more unreal, however, was the backing that she had gotten from Tom Nook, the island representative, Isabelle and just near about everyone living here.
She had ever been a touch mystical, speaking and acting as if she were from ancient time, like royalty or divinity, yet Blathers had ever connected this behavior to delusions of grandeur...and yet. Something uncanny and possibly terrible was happening and he seemed to be the sole one to be left unaffected so far, thus did he start his own query and investigation as to just what was going on with Ankha. Thus did he go for the registry, for any personal data that he could find by going to the town hall. Isabelle was, as ever, immensely cooperative though seemed to be rather taken with the feline, her descriptions of just how amazing Ankha was seemed downright fanatical, a most troublesome fixation to behold. Yet through all of that had he discovered a most important tidbit of information: where she had been first seen by none other than the one who invited her here.
It was the sole human living here, the island's representative from the first days of their community who had found her, isolated on an island. He had reached her by pure happenstance, going through the Dodo Airline channels and since there was room for a home for her to inhabit, he offered her a place to stay and that was that. It seemed too simple, too fortuituous however, and thus did Blathers go forth and follow his instinct by preparing an expedition to that very same isolated area where the enigmatic Ankha had been first seen. During the flight did he check on possible background checks, the routine stuff that Tom Nook did for anyone wanting to move on their island commune...but hers was surprisingly empty, that is devoid of information. Her name, her species...and that was it. Even his own was more thorough than this as he prepared for the worst and then the plane landed near the shores of this mysterious little island upon which a chance meeting had occurred.
A waterfall, rocks, trees with cherries, dreadful bugs...nothing seemed out of the ordinary here, a most mundane little locale where one could probably kick back and relax. It couldn't be so simple, however, as he doubled his efforts, looked through all corners, all possible clues and what-not...and his efforts were rewarded with the discovery of a secret passage behind the waterfall. A stone stairway leading to below the earth, to an open door whose hinges were of gold and blue...familiar colors, those. Able to perceive much even in low light, he could witness something that seemed both ancient and yet new, vestiges of ancient civilizations that were seemingly made recently, with polished marble and fresh hieroglyphs that depicted many felines...all variations of Ankha. It was surreal, the implications of this discovery giving him the right of it that Ankha was far from ordinary...yet it was when he arrived within the core chamber of this would-be-temple that things turned for the worse.
The sound of a large door closing itself, one made of hard and heavy stone, startled him as multiple torches and braziers went on to illuminate the area. He was standing on a large platform that stood in the gaze of an immense Ankha statue, its base below on another floor as her eyes were almost piercing his. Her mouth opened to reveal a portal in which figures came out from, the most unreal and shocking of revelations being unveiled to the inquisitive owl: a trio of other Ankha. They were differently-dressed, yet still had the same neutral air, as if discontent and yet those three were clad in outfits not unlike those of belly dancers.
“Just as I foretold in my crystal ball. The Ankha of universe 616 would need assistance soon,” the one on Blather's left said, a braided beauty with purple pantaloons, slippers, and a golden Egyptian collar.
“Indeed. Even though I hate to leave Catgrabah unattended, our campaign of expansion requires it on occasion,” the one on Blather's right told, herself acting in a more regal manner even though her own ensemble was just as revelatory as the others. A more expansive, wider kind of braid with spiral highlights within, a diadem lodged within it, a pale blue bedlah accompanying golden jewelry.
“It seems to be a voe...which should be more than easy enough to deal with thankfully. Then I shall return to providing guidance to the Nyarudo,” the middle one said, the three of them certainly conferring to one another as Blathers was too surprised and downright shocked by all that it implied. The Ankha in the middle, the most enigmatic one with her shawl, veil, detached sleeves and sirwal went on to rise her hands and then clap her hands together as the eyes of the statue behind them went on to open...revealing two spiral patterns which shone in the most subtle of ways.
“W-what is...” Blathers said, regaining but a modicum of sense only for his own awareness to be sucked into the twin swirls that popped in. The serpentine effigy upon the statue's head went on to shine as another pair of hands clapped, which Blathers missed due to his own fixation on those eyes. A large crystal pendulum edged with gold was unleashed, a chain hanging from the ceiling making it dangle and swing left and right. The multi-faceted surface reflected multiple shades of pink, a faint swirl being created as the two mesmerizing effect went on to combine to create something all-encompassing for the owl to contend with. Then another clapping of hands and some music went on to play...an air that seemed to send him inside a mysterious zone, that made him think of traveling from camel to camel.
“Hush now, voe. You stand before members of the council of Ankha,” the middle one said, her voice bringing her back to the forefront as she swung her hips in the same pattern as the pendulum behind her. She stood tall, proud, towering over Blathers in ways that seemed more mystical than real as even without her facial expression being visible...she did seem to be of a superior lineage than him in so many ways.
“Look at the spirals, at the pendulum, at us...and receive illumination,” the fortune teller said, the heart-shaped ring at the end of her braid acting as another makeshift pendulum as she swung her hips too, crossing her arms beneath her chest. That waistline, that hourglass figure was the same as the other Ankha's and yet they all seemed so distinct. That golden fur radiating with light, akin to jewels under moonlight as if they refracted the immense crystal pendulum behind them with their motions and exponentially-increasing beauty.
“Ankha is everywhere, all-powerful, all-beautiful, irresistible. Here and in all universes,” the royal one said as her own spiral-hued hair seemed to highlight the eyes behind them, making them shine through a growing darkness that permeated everything that wasn't them. Their dance was rudimentary, yet impossible to repel in terms of personal appreciation. Such allure, such potency, with Blathers unable and soon unwilling to look away.
He felt dizzy, wobbling, his body responding in the strangest of ways as his fixation grew irrevocably. He was on his knees now, each sway of those hips and swing of that gigantic pendulum making them grow. He was overwhelmed, overpowered, helpless before the might and appeal of those felines as he felt smaller and meeker, vulnerable beyond what he could comprehend...and yet they were both merciful and relentless.
“We shall save your soul, claim it and make it so your life shall be given blessed purpose,” the fortune teller revealed, the heart buckle on the metallic hem of her belt beginning to pulsate just like the ring at the extremity of her hair did. It amplified and channeled the energy of the pendulum as Blathers felt his own heart beating in tandem with this phenomenon...which caused for the seed of infatuation to be planted and to bloom in record time. She was glorious, gorgeous even, as if he realized it for the first time and basked in that sensation deeper and deeper.
“The Ankha in your universe is a goddess like us...and should be treated as such,” the princess said, more a fact than a suggestion as her hair went on to feel as if it was coiling around his spirit. The glow of the snake's eyes on the statue went on to grow, to bring in a light as it sucked that of the nearby torches, acting upon the will of the royal Ankha and thus did Blathers begin to understand. Someone capable of such feats, to make him submit and subjugate himself through such acts was indeed worthy to be deemed a deity.
“You are the servants of all Ankha...and should be content, happy, fulfilled by this new role and understanding,” the mysterious one went on to say, the one showing the way to the Nyarudo...whatever they were. She was aware of things, knowledgeable and a dimension-traveler...and he was nothing when compared to that. His importance was challenged by her own and Ankha's won easily, swallowing whatever ambition Blathers held, much to his rejoicement. Spirals, colors, glows, shine, seduction, a complete assault on his pysche and being and he felt euphoria the more he surrendered to it.
“You belong to each and every Ankha.”
They spoke in unison, implanting what mattered to Blathers.
“We are your mistress and goddess, each and every one of us.”
Those charming colossi towered over him, their voice reducing and crushing any resistance as if it were the easiest feat in the world...in all worlds.
“You are our slave...and shall be reminded of it whenever you hear this...”
He was all ears, but a nondescript being whose destiny, purpose and goals were to be defined with the edicts and instructions of these glorious goddesses.
“Me-meow~”
His spirit, his soul swam in the sea of lethargy and tranquility, shutting down and yet programmed as he woke up within his museum. Had it been but a dream, a delusion born out of facile conclusions? It was night, having slept through the day like he always did, he was about to go to Brewster for a cup of coffee...yet the first visitor on this night got to him before he could go up the stairs: Ankha.
“I think we have a lot to talk about for this new wing about the sublime and prestigious being that is me...me-meow.”
Thus did Blathers join the others, his night-life indeed making it so the Ankha of this universe had skipped on him unwittingly. Yet the council of Ankha's did have each others' back as he rejoined the flock. Soon would he follow her commands, obey her counsel and do anything he could to please her...
Like any and every person should.
