In an alternate universe I would like to see that interrogation session and how Zudrec will not believe the truth being said that the artifacts got lost like he was told a thousand times by now.
And the fun fact I still see in this is that if Cobby's name would ever be spoken between those 2 it could solve the whole problem. Cobby saw Gervic as a friend and left him the message for Zudrec which should prove to the cougar that the wolf is trustworthy.
