Carel becomes a Digimon Tamer upon obtaining a Digivice. As luck would have it, he got a Renamon as his partner. She intends to make her tamer happy. As such, Carel asks for an ashiatsu massage, feeling that Renamon and her martial arts expertise will give her the necessary paw dexterity to massage him. As you can see, he was right.
