Nezubirdon (Nezubāton) was a Gori Kaiju featured in Episodes 9 (The Terror of Nezubirdon/Attack of the two headed beast), 10 (Stop the Monster Train Attack of the two headed beast Pt.2) and 27 (Titanic Battle- Seven Giant Monsters/And the dead shall rise) of the Spectreman TV series.
_Appearance and Abilities_
Nezubirdon was a two headed Rat Bird hybrid (indeed, its name is a combination of the words Rat and Bird); it sport a massive body standing on two legs, with wings for flight and had two heads. The Monsters had a long tail which it used to coil it on its enemy or to hit them with. The Beast could expel a Water Blast from its maw, carry diseases in its saliva as most rats do; it also had Regeneration ability, as it Spectreman cut off its heads which it later regrow, but later he did the same thing again in the next episode, only for these to Animate and fly on their own, the body having enough energy to join the fight as well – though it is possible as the Heads were able to reattached themselves to the body when they were decapitated the first time.
The Kaiju's Roar was that of a screech and a roar; in fact, part of its Roar was used for the Defecting Triceratops Topura, from Ep.19 of the Dinosaur Great War Aizenborg series.
_History_
Nezubirdon was unleashed on a small Mountain Village that Gori selected as the testing ground for its new creation, as half of the Pollution Team (George, Rita and Arthur) get lost making a wrong turn and to their a farm; the Trio comes to find some of the locals dead and a Farmer running around with a Riffle in hand driven by rage; Following him they spot two Giant (at first they believe) Rats using the shadows of the mountain to hide. Their problems are complicated when Gori, already having isolated the area with a storm cloud (making day into night), destroys the only Bridge, trapping the Trio on the side with the Monsters, only to see the craze man been killed by the (what soon they discovered is in fact a two headed) Rat Kaiju.
The trio finds the Farmer's Home, with his Son (Hideo, who is the sole survivor of the whole disaster) in it, though now having developed a Fever, but their attempt to take him to a hospital is block by Nezubirdon who proceeds to attack the Farm House; the team is able to escapes through a hole in the wall and hide in a cave, but with Hideo's condition worsening, George takes the car, with the Monster Flying after him – then (for some reason) George jumps out of the car, the car fall of the road, but its fine, covered in mud, and Ya Boi hops into it as if nothing happened (Yes, this Scene made NO sense!).
Anyways, getting out of the Cloud Cover, George spots the Overlord Nebula Vessel and transforms into Spectreman, thus confronting the Mutated Rodent; The Beast has the Cyborg coiled with its tail and down on the floor, where it whips it with it; Spectreman recovers and smacks the monster, but is pinned onto the ground once more trying to maw him; Spectreman recovers though and grabs its tail, coiling it around it heads. After shoving it back, Spectreman uses its Spetre Flash and decapitates the Monster's heads, seemingly killing. As George transforms back, he is horrified that the Nezubirdon is alive with two new Heads having been regrow (or possibly re-attached). Before he could do anything, a Tree falls, with George falling off a cliff and been buried by an avalanche.
Afterwards, Gori and Karas come to spot Arthur and Rita, but his attention falls on the sick boy, which gives an idea; Meanwhile, Chief Kurata and his team find a surviving Police Officer and proceed to search for the others. Not far, The Overlord frees George, who is then found by Rita and Arthur and come to reunite with Kurata and the others; later part of the group travels back to Tokyo with the only other two survivors of the Monster's Attack with Hideo in delirium while Kurata and John stay to investigate, briefly stumbling upon Nezubirdon at one point; Overlord warns George just as the Beast catches up to them – the whole group makes a run for it, while most of them find cover, though the officer is killed by been crushed by the beast's tail. In the meantime, following Gori's orders, Karas hijacks a train, in order to lead Nezubirdon to the city...
Why doesn't he use a control, like he has done with the other monsters? Dunno! The train plot makes no sense to me, so ... "Eh!".
At the Hospital, the team is able to take Hideo for treatment and get his fever under control, while George is fucking comically tied to the bed, because they are trying to make him have a rest, when Otto comes warning the others about the incoming Kaiju, as they ran out to see, George gets a called from Overlord for his immediate assistant, and asks for the child's help to untie him. After escaping, George transforms into Spectreman and flies to meet up with the Monster for Round two.
While trying to hold off the Monster, Spectreman is overpowered, as he is still too weak for having use its ray in the last fight, falls unconscious on the rail tracks, reverting to his human size, with Karas speeding up the train to run over the fallen hero, but he is able to get out of its way on time – then the Train and the Beast come under attack by JSDF Jets, but these have no effect on the Kaiju who gladly takes the Fighters down by smack its heads with them, though getting burn in the process which turns off the fire with a Water spray from its mouth.
In that moment, Spectreman, now back to its Giant Size, corners the Beast in a Standoff; as the Beast steps over the track, Spectreman grabs it, pulling from under the monster, making it tumble, as well stopping the train and crashing, with Karas falling from a bridge. Spectreman tries to kill the wounded beast, but misfires, too weak to even aim. The limping Nezubirdon tries to maul the Cyborg, who then uses its Wrist Blades to cut the heads once again, but to his horror, the severed heads come to life and attack, with the headless body joining the melee. He fends off the heads and grabs the train's Oil tanker Car; he runs onto the beast and pushes behind a mountain where a Fiery Explosion is seeing by Kurata and the others, successfully killing Nezubirdon. Afterwards, George reunites with the others in the hospital with the Chief surprise to find George holds some grass that only grows on the site of the just concluded battle.
This would had been the end of the Monster, but some months later, Gori revived the creature along with several other Kaiju previously killed by Spectreman, to test the strength of his new creation Silver Robo, though his presence was brief – while trying to eat George, Arito and Mineko, Silver Robo jumps behind it and decapitates the Monster, however, its Body and heads are destroy at the hands of Spectreman when the hero uses Spectre Flash on it.

Nezubirdon is another decently-designed monster, one of the best, if not THE best, executed suits in the series, not to mention one of the most creative in my opinion. It's also part of a decent two-parter where Spectreman actually seemingly has trouble with his opponent.
That said, I have to say, your artwork on Spectreman is...not the best. Looks like you were going for the third-type costume, the one that kept the musculature of the first costume, while removing the golden belt like the second, but you made the buckle look like a fan or turbine instead of the sun symbol as portrayed in the series, and you gave Spectreman a, what looks to me, sort of drooping face as the nose and "mouth" are almost a foot apart from each other while in the franchise, they were more inches apart. I like the body shape and the pose he has, and Nezubirdon looks great, flying in for the kill, it's just the small details were the first ones I noticed.
