Just a few pieces of random cuteness for tonight.

Back around 1977 i started drawing these blue pony girls, - who knows why? - some cartoony some more realistic. One even showed-up in a dream once...No, not that kind of dream...

Re the big eyes : there was no anime around in America at that time - was thinking back to childhood faves like Wonder3 (Amazing 3), Kimba, etc, and to the more recent "Hols, Prince of the Sun" (early Miyazaki - check youtube) shown once-in-awhile on TV in translation as "Little Norse Prince". Also i had this southern belle doll made in Korea who had that sort of anime type face.

The drawing for this is from May '78, - the '82 on it refers to the colouring - originally done with watercolour markers. A couple of years ago i smoothed out the colours in PaintshopPro7 and PainterX. The Bg colours and lights were prolly done in PaintshopPro7.
