I used to amaze someone I used to know with my ability to multiply and divide large numbers relatively accurately. She would get a calculator and give me two numbers to multiply and, in my head, I would multiply the numbers and be accurate within 10. I took a CLEP exam for math and got a 95 on it even though I had never taken calculus, geometry, or trigonometry. (I doubt very seriously I could do that again, though.)
Wow, that's impressive. I took Geometry and Trigonometry in High School and College, but Calculus? The furthest I've gotten was Pre-Calculus. I never took regular Calculus mostly because the formulas they used in class are too complicated, at least to my understanding.
