"It was past 1:30 am and I missed the last bus ride home. I could have walked back, but in these streets, I was a tad crept out. So I decided to continue my stay with Jewels and her boyfriend Adam. They are cool friends who live with 4 other roommates, most of them just as open as they are, which was nice.
"However, I can not stress the fact that I didn't want to stay the night with Jewels and Adam. Even though they are warm hearted folks, I cant stress enough that I have a crush on Jewels. She too has a crush on me, just as deep and heavy as I on her. We both know this and I think that Adam knows about it as well, but he trusts Jewels and knows that she wont hurt him.
"So I spent the night laying on the couch. This is my first time sleeping over their place, so I had some trouble sleeping. I wasn't planning a sleep over, so I didn't bring my PJs or anything. Jewels gave me one of her shirts that fit me since I am as skinny as her. In my mind, I pondered about things with her and I. We never got serious because I respect Adam and her and their relationship together. It is like a 'look but dont touch' situation, and it is tarring us both inside. After kicking around thought in my head, I drifted asleep.
"Suddenly, I opened my eyes and I saw Jewels sitting right next to me, right on the ground near the couch. She was just watching me. I looked at the time and saw that it was near morning. I asked her if something was wrong, and she asked if she could snuggle with me on the couch. She said her boyfriend was fast asleep and she wanted to be close to me until the sun rose.
"I hesitated and looked her in her eyes, deeply."
Some may say that he is going into a dangerous territory because he is being romantically intimate with a girl who is already taken. Love is very confusing when you look at it. You find that right person that you have been looking for for most of your life, and when you find that person, he or she is already taken/engaged.
I really cant say any more about this, because this is based off of a true story and I am still confused about it myself...

I totally understand that feeling. I have a friend that I respect his relationship with his girl, hell the two of them seem perfect for each other. And I'll be honest if it weren't for a very special guy I'm talking to right now (not dating just talking at the moment) and things were different between him and her Id probably be the first to ask him out (if she was never in the picture) or be there just to comfort him in a time of the break up like a good friend should (if anything happened between them). But life found a way of dropping someone else in my lap who I feel will be better for me should it all work out when the time comes.

My question -- which I might regret voicing even here -- would most undoubtedly be "how stable is the relationship if they would do this?" Yes, I understand that some people are very 'open' with their relationships and don't mind experimenting... but something about that just feels strange to me.

For me it seems every girl I meet that I like already has a relationship going and all.
Makes ya think your old or their just going really fast.
Though with the current economy it seems like everyones rushing into relationships and mortagages and what not.
A predicament like this would usually leave me going the "whatevers best for her" route.
I dont think theres any easy way with situations like that.
Though at a moment like that exactly, Id just be stuck for words. I simply wouldnt be sure either choice.
Maybe Id just end up talking until the sun rises. Theres a way out of it xD
