Our stalkers and hunters finally managed to catch him hunting a flying beast.
We followed them to a rocky outcrop, quite flat land with several tall jagged rocks and cliffs.
The flying beast stayed high, avoiding our specimen easily, occasionally landing to take a breather.

Our hunters report a sudden thick fog roll in. They report that it made it difficult to breathe in it, also reported to be very cold.
They also reported several glowing forms moving around, often looking exactly like our specimen.
This seemed to confuse the flying beast, flying erratically wasting energy trying to attack each shadow.

Our hunters and stalkers could not pinpoint which form was real, they all felt somewhat real and somewhat fabricated.
It was analysed to be enchanted ice crystals making illusions, it's still unclear how he manages to make his own body disappear.

In the end, the flying beast tired itself out and was easily subdued by our specimen, their powerful claws and jaws effortlessly crushing the flying beast.
