Savannah, Rikki and Ember had slept well, coffee was boiling on the small fire. It was well guarded and carefully maintained, there would be no fires on the grasslands and farms. The three were being very careful about it.
Savannah was busy cooking for the three, the pan held a number of eggs, something that looked like bacon. The three ate as they did so they watched as a hunting party left the town and headed into the forests further south.
“I spotted you checking out the games yesterday” said Rikki.
“Yes I was a number of those games matched what I know” Ember said.
“Will you take part in the dancing?”
“Dancing...me I’m not sure Rikki..I’d not want to embarrass myself”
“You have a lovely body Ember” said Rikki.
“Alright...fine I’ll think about it” replied Ember.
"I'm interested in the archery contest, but as I did not realise that there would be one, I didn't pack my bow" said Savannah.
“I’m sure they will have something that you could borrow” answered Rikki.
“Perhaps I hope so” replied Savannah.
“Well we should put the fire out and see what the town has to offer for Starfall’s Eve” Rikki said.
********
Starfall’s Eve was in full swing, many people were out and celebrating, large banners and decorations filled the town, here and there bright flowers were found in large pots. Here and there various species of kits ran around hollering with excitement. Already a track race had started, so the three were unable to take part in that. Houses were festooned with banners and decorations just as much as covered in bright colors.
Ember was soon taking a shot at a booth that had the game of ring toss. This was the first day of the festival, however people from local towns and villages where already collecting. A number of musicians playing in several areas already providing entertainment.
Several were chatting with the stall-holders, probably business acquaintances from outside the community. There were a handful of other morph species too, here and there the were some oxters, they were a cross between a fox and otter.
“I think I might enter the swimming races, although I think it’s going to be an Oxter that wins” chuckled Rikki.
“It’s taking part and having fun that counts” replied Savannah.
Ember was taking a like to these people her impressions of these people was they were open, honest and sharing.
“How did you do?” questioned Savannah.
“Not bad I won a small Foxtaur plushie” giggled Ember.
“How about we get us a snack ladies?” questioned Rikki.
The three looked around until they found a young raccoon girl who was working a food stall. Savannah’s stomach rumbled from the scent of the strong spices and the food. Breakfast had been three hours ago and hir stomach was making it’s demands known.
“Ooooh Pur’ka, I gotta have some”
“Pur’ka?” questioned Ember.
“Yes, a large bird or fowl, they are flightless and taste...ooh so good! Foxtaurs normally hunt them...” salivated Savannah.
“We have whole, half and..popcorn and nuggets” said the Raccoon girl.
“Oooh I’ll take three whole one’s please” Savannah licked hir lips.
Rikki ordered the popcorn Pur’ka, Ember went with nuggets, Rikki found a table nearby and took a seat, the other two went with him, soon Savannah was tucking into hir first Pur’ka. There was a loud burp off Savannah. Ember found the nuggets quite tasty, Rikki thought the popcorn was passable.
“Oh I nearly forgot, your all welcome to the community banquet tonight if you wish to join us of course” said the Raccoon girl as she brought over the rest of the food.
“Thank you we may come” answered Rikki as he paid.
Savannah was already on hir second Pur’ka, Rikki had to wonder if shi had part hare in hir. Shi was really packing it away. Ember jumped as the Foxtaur let out another large beltch. Taking the third shi started to walk off, the others soon went with hir.
With an armful of food, they then had fun trying the games of skill and strength, with modest success. Judging by the degree of difficulty, town boasted some very competent people. They came across a booth selling leather-goods. They paused to examine them more closely and they realized just how competent the artisans were.
There was a display of various tops for both males, females, herms such as vests, jackets and halters. The leather was as soft as chamois, and yet, the stall holder assured them it was still strong and durable. Savannah found one that would accommodate her generous bust and pulled off hir halter-top on the spot to try it on.
There was an array of practical and ornamental clothing. The only thing that those tops had in common was that they were all extremely well-made and very attractive. Savannah put on the top that shi selected. This type had leather drawstrings to make it fit snugly.
It conformed to hir curves as if it had been made for hir. The material virtually caressed hir breasts rather than confined them. A shiver of delight shook Savannah, it felt so nice and supportive. The vendor was soon smiling at Savannah and realized that he knew that he had a sale.
“Damn that looks fine on you Savannah. It almost makes me want to buy one too." Rikki grinned.
"That says more about it than any mere compliment" laughed Savannah.
The three continued on their way and Ember wondered if she should ho back and get herself a top.

“Will someone please shut up that horrible Hare?” asked Finn.
“We tried he sings anyway, best to let him get it out of his system” answered Krystal.
“Well, he eats like there is a six season famine on the way!” Finn complained.
“Hare’s are just like that Finn from what I hear the only stronger fighter you can find are the badgers but they keep to their owns lands in the mountains. They have little to do with lowlanders, some sort of trust issue” Elara explained.
Elara considered his next words some of the things he had heard some of it was scuttle butt.
“Hares consider themselves as a warrior species, they follow a strict code and very few die in their own beds. They hold to honor like no other species, death in battle is seen as an honorable passing, guaranteeing them a place in the after life and the black parade”
Basil came closer and looked to Elara as the group continued moving. He shifted in his armour and raised a brow.
“Who told you about the parade wot?”
“Well I heard it from an equine, Basil, not sure where he heard it from”
“Hmmmph Hares only talk to Hares about the black parade, bad show for others to talk about it” harumphed Basil as he wandered off to go to the front of the collum.
Elara shook his head Hares were funny about some things it was just how they were. Ahead the Town of Hallfhill could be seen perhaps Elara’s brother would be here. He really did hope so, he smiled a bit as he recalled Blaze.
On the soft spring wind came the sound of music and singing coming from the town. A few stray scents of foods also came with them.
“I say we must be in time for Starfall’s Eve, awesome timing!” commented Basil.
The day took longer than the group had expected what with Basil telling stories that would make more than a few blush from the blatant fibs, he was talking about when explaining his adventures. Elara just grinned most Hares exaggerated their adventures it was just their way.
The sun was setting, but a number of bonfires and torches gave warm light. The group stopped just outside the town and Elara let the large ox like beast free to roam.
They made their way over to one of the groups gathered about some musicians. Their instruments weren't the usual factory produced stuff. They had long-necked stringed instruments of unique design, primitive, but great-sounding drums, and a wild variety of wind instruments. They started off with an enthusiastically rendered tune that seemed to welcome us. Next, they burst into a humorous ballad which had Basil dancing a jig.
“You know I feel like joining them, perhaps I should you know help them perfect their singing wot”
“Noo!” exclaimed Finn as he tackled the gregarious Hare to the ground.
“Everyone’s a critic wot!”

Lunaria was very seldom found in the heavenly realms that often, it was said that the goddess of home and nature liked being around people more. The red headed pony girl was having fun, she had to admit the people of Halfhill knew how to party.
Her long red hair whipped around her as she danced, she was wearing a body tight outfit, it let out an odd soft shine as she danced, it covered most of her body except an area above her large breasts. Dancing to the reverberating drums she smiled nearly upsetting the glasses on her nose, she didn’t really need them she just thought that she looked good with them.
In her free hand was a large pint glass filled with some green alcoholic drink. Something made her shiver which was unusual for her, she excused herself from the husky male she had been dancing with and went to the edge of the dancing area, she placed her drink on a table nearby.
Something was wrong, something was crying out in the darkness. Something in the east screamed out unheard by the mortals. Shivers went up Lunaria’s spine as she licked her lips, a familiar power reached out to her.
“What have you done...sister?”

Blaze took a long breath, nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. Some might call the partly ruined castle as mad place to set up a laboratory, only the gate house was of any use. Dr Hazel Forna liked the place as it was quite. The room the two were in was at least warm, a white and cream hare female watched as a male fox undressed.
Inside the room were pieces of equipment and a number of things Blaze was unsure of. Electrical charges jumped from one apparatus to another. The air smelled of Ozone and other chemicals that the fox femboy didn’t know of.
“Are you sure Blaze I can’t say for sure it will work, I’ve worked with the magical field before. I’m still a little unsure of morphigenic fields thought. In theory if your correct we could use both fields to turn you into a girl”
“I’m sure it will be fine Dr Hazel, I want to be a full girl, whatever the cost” replied Blaze.
“It might cost you dearly, can’t talk you out of it. Fine well lay down on the table and well good luck Blaze” Hazel commented as she flipped switches.
Blaze lay down it was cold against the steel of the table, he shivered as what seemed to be an overly large gun pointed down towards him, the table tilted some and Hazel passed behind a screen.
“Are you sure you want this Blaze if anything interferes with the fields I...well lets hope that wont happen!” Dr Hazel as she set a pair of goggles in place.
“Yes I want to do it!” exclaimed Blaze.
Dr Hazel pulled a leaver, from the barrel of the gun like device a rainbow of colours spat out it enveloped Blaze with energies that wrapped around him. There was a weird sensation of floating it seemed very strange, then Blaze felt hot, maybe too hot! The fox femboy screamed and quickly passed out. As he did so his hair started to becoming longer and began turning pink, his penis and testicles shrank slowly and turned into a tight vagina.
Breasts grew quickly as the fox was turned by the power of the magic surrounding him into a vixen. The nails of the vixen’s hands grew and went as pink as her hair, lips and eyelids turned a shade of purple. The energy fields began to fade away quickly. Blaze gasped for breath as Dr Hazel ran over.
“Quite remarkable, quite remarkable, I don’t know what to ever call this...neo genesis…Hmm the colour of magic is a rainbow?”
“Dr Hazel calm down, there’s something I want to try” said Blaze.
The Vixen was surprised by how warm and soft her voice was now, she giggled and grabbed Hazel’s lab coat and kissed her fully on the lips. Hazel moaned a little and quickly broke the kiss, the hare was flustered.
“Well...that was nice...but I’m I..I don’t play that way...wot” Hazel said in surprise.
“Hmmm it does feel different, softer some how” said Blaze.
“Well I hope you brought something with you...clothes wise” commented Hazel.
“Oh yes I brought purple mini dress with me” said Blaze.
Blaze stood back up the vixen felt a bit light headed as she went over to the bag on a nearby counter. From it she brought out a folded purple mini dress and slipped into it carefully.
Smoothing it out Blaze had to grin a little.
“What do you think Hazel?”
“Oh yes, umm very pretty...your not going to kiss me again right?” Hazel said with a worry.
“Oh no your quite safe but we should head back to town”
“Ahh...well go ahead Blaze I have some readings to take and such”
“See you later?”

For over a thousand years the darkness in Morrígan Darkstar still ruled, fed up with the attention and love her sister Lunaria was given, she had plotted and schemed to to become all mother. Then she would have the love and attention of the mortal realms and everything she wanted.
However the plan did not go well, the other goddesses turned on her, her normally blue skin and red tail and mane turned black and green from the assault of the crystals of power. The eight crystals kept the heavenly realms in balance with the mortal realms.
The crystals of power cast her into the Under Realms keeping her there in a deep chamber complex that was thought inescapable.
Morrígan lay on the bed on her stomach, her body toned and slightly oily, her green hair spread out on her back, a pair of white feathered wings with black leading edges could be seen. Dressed in a tight black and green outfit she was still considering what went wrong in her plan.
Every so often she would go up and see if the massive quartz plug stuck into the mountain side keeping her there and outside of the other realms had moved any. Every time she had gone to look it was still jammed as tight as ever, however this time she had looked there was a crack in the quartz, perhaps she could give it some help given time.
For the moment she was busy storing what little power she had, long before she had been know as the Goddess of Revenge and Retribution. Every act of such things gave her power, she could feed off it. She was storing the power she just needed to wait and Morrígan was very good at waiting.

The second day of the celebration for Starfall’s Eve had begun, Rikki and Ember were watching Savannah, the Foxtaur had dug hir feet in as shi was taking part in a tug of war. The team was ten against ten, and not just Foxtaurs there was a nice mix of races. The rope spanned a large pit of thick mud about halfway was a red ribbon tied onto the center of the rope. The two groups had dug in and now it was a pure test of strength. Whichever team could get the ribbon to their side was the winner.
Slowly inch by inch the ribbon was heading towards Savannah and hir team. It was not long afterwards it heading the other way as the opposing team started to dig in and slowly worked the ribbon towards them.
Savannah continued to strain and softly growled but there was nothing to be done as the red ribbon jerked to the other side, Savannah’s team lurched forwards and they all fell into the thick mud, one by one the climbed out and laughed. Savannah had to agree that it had been a hard won victory by the others.
“That was a pretty hard fought match...should we call you sticky vicky now?” teased Ember.
“How about we have a muddy dragon girl instead when I give her a big hug?” asked Savannah.
Ember ran off giggling as she was chased by Savannah, Rikki had to grin as he watched the pair. The day was coming to a close above one by one the stars came out above. As they did large bonfires and torches were being light, a large banquet had been prepared earlier and everyone was soon being sat at the tables. The celebration would last for a while longer and into the night.

“You know being all moody like that is bringing everyone down” commented a large blue husky.
“I’m sorry I though I felt...something I’ve not for a while, Kaylin” replied Lunaria.
“Hmm, well come back and dance have fun, things can wait till tomorrow” Kaylin answered.

Morrígan looked to the massive quartz plug, it was now or never pouring the magic she had collected she focused her power into the crack in the plug. At first nothing seemed to be happening, but slowly the crack began to spread, it was slow because quartz was resistant to magic somewhat. Morrígan fell on to her rear as she was exhausted but it was working.
Finally the cracks met and there was a loud pop as the quartz plug exploded into a mix of shards and a great deal of quartz dust.
“I’m free...after three thousand years I’m free!” Morrígan exalted.
For now the black pony needed rest, it would not be that long before she would be able to move. Then woe betide anyone who got in her way.

Lunaria was still slightly distracted but she had settled down more, whatever had alarmed her had settled down.
“Well...I suppose one night won’t matter to much” said Lunaria as she followed Kaylin.
