Done with the Shelby Short! It's a little longer than I wanted but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I just hope it's as fun to read as it was to create!
I also think I'm going to have any "chapters" that are 1 or 2 postings like this be called shorts instead of giving them a chapter number. they will still be canon and might have follow up or come up in a main story later on. For example... the people who own the club might want some revenge later, eeh? Also dang it, typing this out just means my brain will start imagining a follow up adventure. Ah well what can you do ::shrug::
Also I'm trying a new way to save the document that should save me some steps. I just hope FA doesn't throw a fit. We'll find out in a moment! I might have to delete this posting and try again lol. *edit* meh, it looks a little weird, like the paragraphs were double spaced between them. Not worth deleting, but something to figure out later.

Well you have to give it to John, even after all that he wasn't going to give up on taking her home! Fun story and the part about shooting at the car made me laugh, nicely done!

It is a shared universe, and I'd say I do struggle with it a little bit. Saying someone is human just feels weird but I really should. When I type it though I just go... this is so strange to type... then I usually erase it. Something I should start working on, better identifying humans apart from everything else.

I've considered that as well, using Men and Women for humans but then I find myself falling into a difficult situation when people are grouped up lol. Like, what do you call a group of men of differing species, like in this story? I dunno!
I may be in the unique position of having humans in my world, which it doesn't seem too many do. I know Helix does sometimes... maybe I should hit him up for suggestions. I think he's on hiatus for a long while though.

Thank you!! I was hoping it was exciting. Putting a car chase in written form was a challenge but I also really enjoyed trying it so I do hope it worked out well.
I've thought about the PDF route but personally I like the format where FA dumps it into their own story... system? process? I dunno, where you don't have to leave the page to read the story. It's 100% personal preference on my part, but maybe I should try going with the norm. It might make edits easier lol
