With a rood over their head and a place to rest until the rain cease, Milda requested some towels to dry themselves off. Since the Inn was rather quiet they took the opportunity to rest their clothes by the fireplace hoping no traveler came in during this process.
With body and clothes fully dry Milda couldn't wait any longer to pry open her stolen good, see what was so important of that rude Sergal, with enough determination the content was revealed however the enthusiasm of the Agudner turned to pure terror.
Shizame unaware of its content '' Is it worth anything? Looks valuable, a glowing stone'' he asked, Milda shook her head stiff as a branch '' Its.....w...wrong''. She slowly picked the box up and leaned it forward making the stone roll onto the table, without warning Milda lifted the box up and attempted to smash the stone with it.
With quick reflexes Shizame yanked the glowing orb before she could strike, quickly taking distance as Milda attempted to smack it off his hand. He pushed her away confused and angered by the total shift of personality, the fight continued for a while before the Inn's owner knocked on their door telling them to quit it or return on the road immediately.
Seeing it as a hopeless battle Milda quickly regain her composure and sat down by the edge of the bed. She took a loud annoyed sigh refusing to look back at Shizame.
Milda: Im surprised it didn't broke apart your arm by now, what you are holding in your hand is a Automaton core. Artificial soul capable of tearing down organic material and transmute it into a doll like body. They are the more accepted slave in a way.
Shizame: You wanted it broken down for what then? Bad experience with Automatons?
Milda : Automaton core are blue, fully artificial being. Yours is tainted with the hue of bad omen, green is not a good color trust me. I would need to return to Dal-Komor grand archive to find more answers but my dad always told me never go near green glowing stones.
Shizame placed the stone back into the dented jewelry box '' Well if it was truly dangerous it would have done something by now'' Milda nodded '' i suppose so'' she replied weakly. Leaning fully onto her bed she stared at the ceiling still worrying about the current situation.
Shizame sat by the window and stared outside , it would be best to let this whole emotional outburst simmer down until they can return back on the roads.
