For a good decade or more I wanted to photograph one of our local dragonflies and couldn't. They're so damn fast.
Last night, a damselfly signed a model release and posed for me for an hour. She was so kind and sweet, and told me if she was ever in distress that she'd call me. She's not a dragonfly, but so damn close. And very pretty too.
