I drove 20 hours to southeastern Oklahoma to camp for the eclipse, even tho the weather wasn’t perfect.
Amazingly, the morning fog burned off less than 20 minutes before partial eclipse began, and while spotty clouds rolled through here and there…
Totality was only obscured by the highest and thinnest of clouds!
The whole time I was basically praying I had my focus and shutter speed correct, but had NO idea how totality would look once I removed the solar filter.
I think I did pretty well!
Sheer dumb luck, but of the hundred ish pics I took, this one in particular stands out for me!
