When I was doing the Canton Project, Lukas was the last character to be created and I figured I'd make his species something that   FabRice would enjoy, since he motivated me throughout the project.

Apparently I did a really good job at that, because I got this nice little gift while he was practicing portraits and shading on his drawing tablet. I still really like that brushwork on the hair, going with soft strokes instead of harder lines like I would, it's effective in its own way and pleasant to look at.
