Up next, Atlas! A puffy feline for sure.
Rather interesting story to her. Had ditched the whole friendship angle with Roxy and Graham, deciding to just make em family. Just made more sense as for starters, it'd be why he's far more tolerant to Roxy's shenanigans and furthermore, considering Graham was taken in by Riley at a very young age. It just makes sense for him to see the both of them that way. However, it created a new problem as Graham now needed some sort of friend in my eyes. Like yeah he's got a found family who loves him, but I wanted someone who Graham could buddy and perhaps run the cookie stand with. Preferably another feline and able to put up with Roxy too~ That's how Atlas was was conceived!
Originally had a totally different concept in mind for her design wise too, being a Glameow/Spoink fusion of all things with a very bouncy tail, sorta in line with a character like Wubbzy or Tigger. However the design while sorta cute just wasn't landing and I even shifted to a Purrloin/Spoink fusion briefly to see if it'd stick, but it just didn't either sadly. Eventually dropped that angle all together and went back to the drawing board. I briefly had a griffin feline idea with a Purrloin/Swablu fusion, but that didn't get very far, though Swablu stuck in my mind. Then I decided to rewatch the Advanced Challenge episode with the injured Swablu (genuinely sweet and severely underrated episode by the way), felt insanely inspired, I ditched Purrloin and went back to Glameow, then bam. Cloudy cat~
Honestly proud of her design and thanks a ton for the positivity when I posted those doodles last month~ Really appreciate it~
