My best guess is that the mosquito is more inclined to simply NOT stab into a pimple to feast on your blood, and mostly it varies by pimple type.

White-heads, cysts, and such... totally ignored. They're mostly blood and white cell masses, totally unwanted.
Others, probably not as well.
Besides, if anything I'd say the consistency would be more like trying to drink mashed potatoes through a straw, rather than the thick, syrupy milkshake of blood that is their preferred texture, and totally not at all like Boba.
