A mysterious nation appears near the continent of Pyrrhia. A nation of magical floating islands. The strange-looking dragons who inhabit it call it Haven. While they allow all guests and don't act hostile, they still appear to possess some kind of secrets. Fueled with curiosity, or having nothing better to do, two young dragonets decide to take a sneak peek of this unique land floating in the sky.
The two dragonets, Reign and Dolphin, fly to the floating islands under the cover of night. Thankfully they weren't spotted by guards, but things take an almost immediately turn for the worse as the pair accidentally crash land into a pool on an island. When they surface, they look up to see a truly unique land. The citizens look so odd, similar to themselves yet different in other ways. The way they light their community is with magical and eerie lanterns. A large tower can be seen nearby. One of the larger islands floats directly over this one, making things seem more like an underground cavern. The pair are so star struck, they almost don't notice the adult dragon towering over them. Feeling awkward and intimidated by getting caught so quickly, it takes the two a moment to realize something off about themselves. Without knowing why, the dragonets have begun to change. Their scales change, appearing as if their colors are melting and dripping off into the puddles they created.
The adult looks down at them like two troublesome hatchlings, but without any oddity. Apparently during the crash, happenstance caused Reign to spill his paints into the water which gave onlookers the assumption that the pair's transformation is just a painting mishap. While not the way they intended, Reign and Dolphin now have the opportunity to traverse Haven undetected, as new citizens.

Some more story from me and my friends' Wings of Fire OCs. It was quite a unique adventure. I sure had fun. Here is one scene that really tells a lot of what we were in for.
It looks so perfectly beautiful to me. It's exactly how I remember the adventure, and it's all thanks to
