At FWA 2011 on the wall where the registration line was there was this random small door that stood at waist height. I even heard the staff wonder where it was supposed to lead to. It wasn't really locked but more seemed stuck shut.

That door may be a dumbwaiter, a mini-elevator used to carry dishes or bring down food to the ballroom. That hotel was built in the early 60's and been through several renovations over the years. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dumbwa.....%28elevator%29
