Same. The Pokémon OC world I use them for actually has diapercritter as a rare trait, to accommodate other body materials like pooltoy. But a 100% diapercritter world is a neat idea 📝

I'm no professional diapercritterologist, but they're mainly just a material switch. Instead of a body made of flesh and fur, or latex or pooltoy vinyl, swap it for diaper material.

One popular version is to have the diapercritter be hollow on the inside, so that someone can wear it as a sentient diapersuit. There's a variety of ways for the diapercritter to be animated and alive in the first place, and what it feeds on to sustain itself, if it needs to feed on anything at all. It easily connects to a lot of other fetishes and kinks.

Many diapercritters wear diapers too, which is one of my favorite parts. The diaper can be a part of the critter's body, or a separate article of clothing like standard diapers. I like it to be a part of their body, the first line of protection that fills up before it starts absorbing into the rest of their body.

I prefer my diapercritters to be "solid" on the inside with the ability to use themselves on their own, as a fully self-contained creature. My diapercritters can also change themselves by growing a fresh layer of diaper on the inside, and shedding the used outer layer to reveal the fresh one beneath, like a snake shedding its skin.

But yeah it's mostly just "what if it were made of diaper instead of normal stuff" and the specific details are up to you.
