It's pretty good, but it looks a bit flat. You could improve it by adding matallic texture to the armor and Turian skin texture to the face. Also, to bring out the expression, his left eye could be closed so that he would lhave a more fitting reaction to the beam bouncing off of him.
The movement is done well, the texturing of the cyber armor looks hard to do and accomplished, And the pistol is nicely drawn.
Just a little critique from a fellow art student for one of my favorite artists.

Very nice. but I have one little thing to note.
The "hex-grid" forcefield effect was very nicely done, but you should have extended it further from the body on his left arm, the left side of hsi chest, and his legs. It looks like they're actually a part of the armor's outer surface, which is not how it should look. Just extending it so that it looks like it's about an inch away from the surface would make it look great.

Ah, the kinetic barrier, a grand piece of technology. An electric field is created in a pre-designed shape from the suits kinetic energy deposits and is upheld by an electric core in the suit. Electric pulses are then constantly fed into the kinetic barrier to maintain it. When a heat sink round collides with the barrier all available energy is for a fraction of a second transferred to that one spot where the round hit, enhancing the kinetic barrier and thus reflecting or disintegrating the round completely.
Lets say the barrier have a maximum capacity of 10v, and 6v is required to maintain the barrier. That leaves us 6v-10v = 4v that is used to take on the sudden overload from every round impact on the barrier. Lets say a common heat sink round causes the energy surge to forcefeed in an additional 1v to reflect the round. This means 6v+1v=7v. Let us also consider that it takes a few seconds for the power forcefeed to go down to standard level(6v). This means that if about 4-5 heat sink rounds collides with the barrier in quick continuation after eachother, the power feed will cross over the maximum capacity(10v) and therefore overload, resulting in the kinetic barrier to black out until the energy core can handle the overload and then repower the energy feed for it to finally being functionable again. Only after that time will the kinetic barrier work again and re-instate its protective barrier around its user.
The anti-shield heat sink rounds in the game are covered by a small electric barrier themselfes which are added to the suits forcefeed of energy to reflect the round, therefore reducing the amount of rounds required to take out the shields on a target. Also fire from very high-power weaponry, such as snipers where the bullets have a far higher stopping power, will result in the power forcefeed to increase because the harder a round hits the barrier, the more power is neede to deflect it.
