Thing that got stuck in my head, in my AU, Thread to Follow, most of the canon characters don't exist and a new holder series comes along with new kwami. As such, I went well there's no Ladybug or Cat Noir technically but they're kind of forever existing motifs. So I decided on a "Ladypug" then Ladypup. A being that basically when the holders and guardians are all passed, comes along and collects the new age kwami.

An eternal being of sort. So the ladybug motif could continue to exist without a ladybug kwami.

As the other AU, One of Many, has Marinette realize there are dozens of different ladybug and ladybird kwami(all different looking) and they all do her job across the world and she's not a chosen one but one being in a big world of ladymen and ladywomen. So she gets humbled.
