There is an artist I watch here named Hachikun who made an anthro horse costume for a festival mascot, complete with hand-woven reed sandals for the hooves which were "period accurate" to the Edo period Japanese merchant costume the character was wearing. They were fascinating!

She's never been a real "queen" as in a day-to-day ruler, she's been a cherished figurehead, kept locked up and safe in a luxurious palace, waiting to fulfill her prophesied destiny. She's really little more than a child, despite her voluptuous curves and sexual training. I wonder who really ran the country?
I see where Zaphira is coming from. She wants to explore and see the world. Ever since she was born with a special birthmark, she was trapped by the prophecy. Trapped inside a "cage" where she could only read books to set her mind free. She's curious about the world. Now that the big prophecy is over, (we don't know if there's another coming) she can be free to see the wide wonder of the world.
Looking at the world with her own eyes and listening to the people's stories with her own ears will help make her a better queen as well.
