In honor of 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆, I wanted to pay tribute to Pop Artist Roy Lichtenstein, who's another one of my favorite artists. What I personally love about his work is his use of dots, giving his pieces a "Halftone Pattern", which were known as "Benday Dots", named after artist Benjamin Day, who was the first artist to utilize the 'dots' in his pictures. In one of his pieces, "Drowning Girl" the waves in the picture were an homage to Japanese artist Hokusai's "Under the Wave off Kanagawa" to further emphasize the tone of the piece itself.
