🦡The sound of salt lashed waves crashing against the reed splotched shores lulled in the background. the storm had left as quickly as it had appeared, though it left the skies gray and muddied. The pair's capsized boat having already been swallowed up by the cold Brockton waves by the time Faris awoke on the shore, with a couple of coughs and in a panic as he looked around and saw he was alone. Faris hadn't fully had the time to fall into despair before the badger found him. Hearing his coughing, Pushing through Reeds and brush, stumbling over drift wood and dune to reach his side. Henry fell to his knees at the otter's side wrapping his arms around Faris and pulling him in close for a soggy hug. Though Faris's heart still beat fast from his rough awakening he felt relief cover him like a blanket at his lover's embrace. Softly he placed his paw on the other man's chest and leaned into the nook between Henry's neck and shoulder. Listening to the badger's breathing in....out...in...out. The thoughts of the storm faded in Faris's mind as he focused on Henry. Terror replaced with relief.🦦
