Hee-Ho, howdy everyone! Today I bring you more images of Hunter Star Spine, and this time around? Another module! This one being their "Matriarch" module as they probably only get this form after well, *defeating* the Matriarch near the end of the Boars of War arc of her story. Most likely this "transformation" being most well seen during the War Against the Stars, the Mimin War and especially in the Council of Chaos. Although since Hunter is a Love-Bot, well- and for those who are new or don't know- Love-Bots are your classic "dungeon slime" in a set of power armor that's easily modifiable as long as they obtain the right blueprints.
I imagined her as (Hunter is usually only 7 ft and 8 inches in their "regular" form) almost being 20-25 ft tall in this form. Something giant that can be more than just a "pest" for many of the Kaiju sized monsters that show up in the Realm of Materia that she may do battle with. Same can be said for any "invaders" as well... This form is meant to be a joke of the "final" or "true endgame" form for Hunter. Their goo changing to a light blue instead of a red, and them looking "knightlier" and heroic. They're also equipped with one of those gigantic "paddle" swords as just because they're a giant and have a lot of weight behind them, does not mean they are slow. So! A few fun facts as people don't usually read the things in bold below my copyright section!
Fun Fact 1: Ironically, this form is a remake or "redoing" of their "Wendigo" or "Skinwalker" form. (Which the themes of Hunter's character are still there of the classic legend, however, it's just with bugs instead of the usual skull-faced horn creature.) Instead of Hunter having just like... forms of different species, I decided it would all be Love-Bot based.
Fun Fact 2: The very first concept of Hunter Star Spine actually had her using a paddle sword all the way back in 2008, only really seen again now. (Thomza also used one too, I was a really, really big fan of Berserk at the time.)
Fun Fact 3: I've been playing with outlines again as you can tell. I went with a solid black outline this time, and I even added some texture work to the simple city background I drew
Fun Fact 4: This was originally going to be their "tanky" form, but I made it so detailed and kept on adding onto it, I just had to do something with it. I also made sure like it had those cool little hollow holes in the armor too! Really wanted to make her look like a moving castle or a fortress, something strong and intimidating that makes you say "how is that thing moving so fast?" I also planned on giving her like... Massive cannons she can attach to her shoulders. Making her almost more "mech" or "mecha"-like instead of just being a suit of power armor.
Fun Fact 5: It goes without saying, but Hunter is a much better "Mother" than the original Matriarch, but despite being classified as a Queen, she refuses to take a throne or have a kingdom to rule. She'd much rather just live on a farm and protect those around her with her life
...I think that's about it- Have a nice day everyone! Thanks for reading! Maybe up next I should draw more stuff about the Matriarch, the thing that Hunter actually faces in Boars of War and her unending swarm of Love-Bot minions... There was an old illustration of the Matriarch, and I still think she should have a "worm" form, but I think I want to make her look a whole lot less biological and more mechanical
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.

This is super awesome to see! I love the more defined bulky body shape and the amazing color scheme for this form! I also like how you used older ideas, such as the paddle sword and decides to revitalize the idea for something new! I'm loving your art style and I'm hoping to see more of your work in the future! Keep doing great!
