Now then onwards! I really love Toughsets art style. He draws very vibrant and does designs really amazingly, not to mention how great he draws motion and action!

Chapter 21:
Keeping up with their training, both dragons improved in terms of physical prowess, combat ability as well as magic usage. And with an improved mindset, Incendramon made quite the progress. Though there was still a constant feeling of something holding him back, he just pushed forward more in his training and gave it 200% with everything he did, which helped in keeping up with Placira.
After some weeks of training, it was Placira who wanted to have a sparring match to compare their progress. After quick contemplation, Incendramon agreed and found the idea to his liking. On a clearing in the forest near their house, they held their match and fought, utilizing what they had learned and practiced. And both soon realized, that sparring like this was quite the thrilling experience as well.
Sword and spear clashed repeatedly, as they complimented each others well executed moves and attacks, learning from each other while also matching magic attacks with equally powered magic attacks. The crystals of Placira gave her great protection as they repelled his attacks as one would parry with a shield. allowing her to stay mobile. Different to her, Incendramon at times willingly tanked the attacks and powered through them. His focus on stamina and endurance paying off, as he was now much more capable to stay in combat for longer while relying more on his higher stamina. All this time, Placira could not get through his defenses.
It was a far cry from their previous fight, as they fought not against one another, but sparred with one another, strengthening their bond and mutual feeling of camaraderie.

Friendly sparring match, yesss! Having a mirror-moment that shows the relationship advances between two characters through a directly comparable moment is pretty neat. Perhaps it'd be possible to reuse a similar phrase from their previous duel, but this time it is friendly!
