My daughter had that at birth as well. We wound up being prescribed an acid reducer for her and it worked great. 😌

Thickening her formula with powdered rice also helped a bit, but she really needed the medication for complete relief.

I saw a formula that had rice mixed into it to make thick formula I was nervous about trying it because he’s only three months old
He screams in thrashes from this pain and I feel so bad we have the medication he’s been on it just for this month we’re seeing if it works a little

My daughter was born three months premature, but she had no issues with the powdered rice, though she did need a special formula due to her weak digestive system. We would use nail scissors to cut the nipples of the bottles to make the opening larger and make it easier for her to feed. I remember that she would always curl up in a 'C' shape after each bottle. As soon as we put her down, she'd straighten out, then wake up, screaming. I probably got a handful of hours of sleep a week for several months until we figured this out. Now she's twelve years old and healthy. 😊
