and it was tough trying to get an expression other than happy smiling

I went with embracing the fact that bottlenose dolphins look like creepers. I also kinda treated it like how I'd draw a dragon (but with an underbite).

Something about their like natural expressions, they always look like creepers, or like... really fucking smug- it was always cute to me. They do kind of rape everything, so it seems fitting.

I guess you can? I would also suggest using photos (especially for the inside of the mouth, it's kinda put together weird)- that and it's always good to look at some photos of whatever you're drawing.

They look great to me. Especially the orcas.

the orca came out looking outstanding; well done!:) good beak vs. head proportions, her eyespots should be closer to the top of her head, but that's artistic license:)

you actualy did a very good beak/melon juncture, which is quite difficult to pull off. the eyes on the full torso bust look a little overlarge, but on the front facing head you got them spot on. the laughing ant tongue-hanging head also look quite good.

And yes, we smile all the time, but then, your typical wild dolphin gets laid a *minimum* of three times a day. wouldn't you be grinning all the time, too?
