I'm currently in the process of writing a story called "Spyro's Busted Hopes", and this is the design for Spyro! he's mostly based off the Reignited Trilogy version, although with some very slight alterations, mainly his tail, resembling that of his SL version. Normally, I was going to upload this once the story was complete, but I've hit a bit of a writer's block, and don't really know how to continue. So I'd figured I'd upload it now.
If you want to read a wip of this story, you can check it out here!:

After a horrific skateboarding accident which leaves him incontinent, Spyro attempts to cope with the fact that he'll need to return to wearing diapers for the rest of his life
Spyro was once a rebellious cocky young punk, who loves causing trouble and livening up the rather boring and quiet artisan lands he lives in, he's passionate about skateboarding, video games, and generally acting a little like a menace. He often views himself as being mostly above it all, and the coolest kid on the block! After the accident, Spyro feels incredibly broken down about the news, and falls into a rather depressive state, losing interest in many of his former passions, as this one injury has changed his life and character forever.

I know what that's like... the shock of a sudden impact leading to an unfamiliar injury, and the fear that it won't ever heal. The pain can last for days, residual soreness for weeks... and emotional trauma in the aftermath will persist for months or even years.
Horrific scars and broken bones can be mended with great care and a lot of rest over time, but you never forget the experience or what it felt like when your seemingly perfect world came crashing down and took you with it.
Never had anything quite this severe myself, but came very close a number of times.

Also, please STOP using MS Paint for all of your sketches. There are at least a hundred visual design tools that you can get for free at filecr.com to do vectors, color grading, and make more refined models of animated characters. Seriously, this is not the early 90's anymore, no one pays for software anymore, and there's plenty out there for everyone to use! I can't understand why everyone is so insistent on being pathologically submissive to the acts and demands of selfish venture capitalist "software companies" who never spend or re-circulate the funds, much less within the states, particularly at a time when public dollars are SINKING, while all the software that we want has already been developed, refined, packaged, thrown away and forgotten like the video game you only play once or the new years' fruit cake no one asked for!
I just found about how this condition affects the body+mind and how people can recover from it from this link:

Well, becoming incontinent due to medical reasons is much like a lot of other medical conditions such as disabilities. Some are permanent and irreversible, but the best way to cope with it is to own up to it and accept that it happened, that’s just life, while keeping in mind that it doesn’t change who you are, regardless of the condition. In fact, a good way to turn things around on the bullies is to own the label in a way that can’t be used to hurt you anymore, maybe even invite them to join in on the experience of being padded 24/7 for a couple of weeks or so. There are plenty of fun ways to make it work, such as various designs and colors for diapers and diaper covers and other clothing, not to mention some benefits that most people are unknowingly missing out on. Spyro ma get lucky and find someone who can help him acquire diapers and compatible clothing that actually make him look just as cool as he was before the accident if not cooler, so long as he put on the confidence and acceptance of his new life and make it work. He is a gamer, so this would give him an advantage over his friends due to no longer needing to worry as much about needing the bathroom in the middle of a game. And in skateboarding, he benefits from a new extra layer of cushioning when he wipeout.
That is to say, with these points in mind, I’m sure this can help you achieve that happy ending for Spyro, since the only thing really stopping him from returning to his normal life before the accident is not the permanent incontinence itself but his attitude and refusal to accept what happened and move on. So what if he wears diapers 24/7 for the rest of his life? He’s still Spyro, and no matter how others see him, he alone decides who he is and what defines him, and once he realizes that, he can choose what bothers him and what instead makes him laugh at how silly it was worrying over such things beyond anyone’s control.
Case in point, treat Spyro to a compromise solution that helps him turn his situation into a strength for him, to earn back confidence and make the idea of wearing diapers look cool, and have fun doing new shenanigans inspired by his predicament.
Hope this helps you past your creativity block in some ways.
