A prequel to Winter Fun for fun, to explain why there's chaos going on in the background of it c':

So fun fact, as we were working on, and by we I mean LJ, I just gave thumbs up and made excited noises which I suppose is an important part of the process, a lot of thoughts of how to follow it up occurred, both in terms of "maybe we could do something with why Celina is hunting down Phyress" and "what happens when she runs out of snowballs/they crash into something" type things, and so we've since then discussed both a prequel thing, the lil' comic you're looking at right now, and some potential "sequels" to it. And yes I know, it's just a doodle, why is it get so much extra attention when others don't, I'm having fun here okay, shush your face. I got very inspired by it and it just created more ideas c':

That all aside, I'm sure no one really cares that much, but regardless for those that do, there you go! c':

So here we can now see that Phyress seemingly wasn't such an innocent victim of the flying snowball assault, as she would like to have everyone believe! Indeed, it does appear that she's the one that started everything, by being unable to resist an opportunity to be a lil' shit, to an otherwise calm and relaxed Celina, who's just enjoying a warm beverage! To be fair, that branch with all that snow DOES look awfully tempting, it would have been a shame to let it go to waste, so she really did everyone a favour.

But that begs the question, was this an unprovoked snow prank, or was it retaliation for something that happened earlier ? Phyress does have a very "oh I'm gonna get you" look of potentially revenge going on, so it's highly possible, while Celina does seem awfully content, maybe from a prank of her own! Or maybe that's all just Phoenix propaganda, to make us feel bad for her c':

Aaaa I'm really happy with how this one turned one! I absolutely love all the expressions we've got going on here, from Phyress' "Sneakyress", to "I've made a terrible mistake" and Celina's "nothing like a nice cuppa!" to "oh you've done it now", they're all just amazing! And of course, can't forget backgroundshura, happily working on her snowdragon! It's still early in the process, and she has yet to enlist the help of Zahira, she's so eager to work on it!
This entire thing is just full of charm and personality and I love it <3
