''Really, Nintendo...? REALLY?'' 🤦
Basically Nintendo at the moment in a nutshell. And what's maybe even worse, is the fact that they keep making ''improved'' remakes of games we've already experienced before. And those aren't particularly cheap either.
Oh, and notice how he says ''We'll be patching SOME, back in later''. Real supportive move there, guys (Not).

Yep, indeed. I'm SO done with their business practices at this point. It's the entire reason I skipped the Switch altogether.
And that's not even taking Joy-con Drift into consideration, which as of present-day, is STILL an issue, as if we're still in 2017. Nintendo seems to agree since they've ported practically every good Wii U game to the darn thing. The problem is -- This fact doesn't make me particularly proud of owning a game nobody else owns, because they DO now, thanks to the Switch ports. But if I look at it from the complete other side of the coin -- I'm not willing to fork over another 60 dollars/55 euros to get a port that MAYBE adds a small thing so Nintendo can ''justify'' it being ported to the Switch.
I'm very sorry if I sounded a bit harsh at the end, it's not aimed at you or anyone reading this. I just wanted to further emphasize how BAD the situation we're now all in is.

I regret buying my Switch. Stupid me decided to buy the OLED! Then found out that the performance quality for the games I play most of the time is absolute garbage, and the good games all cost $30 or more. I could've payed $300 for an Xbox and would be way happier. The switch is only a good purchase for kids 10 and under, since they're usually always with their parents and their parents are usually doing errands or something. I mostly play stuff like Fortnite and Rocket League so I'm always hitting lag spikes. And I understand why you are mad.
That last part you wrote there, about only playing online multiplayer games, intruiges me actually. I say this because it would be a clever way to get higher quality games. Sure, there will always be micro transactions, but you CAN ignore those. The thing with Nintendo, is that they lean WAY too hard on their recognizability -- ''It's 60 dollars, but people will buy it anyways because it's Mario, or because it's Pokémon''. Even Zelda sometimes has this issue.
You know why (I think) Pokémon Legends Arceus was so successful? Because it was a breath of fresh air after all those generations of Pokémon games that followed basically the same formula, so the bar for new interest is at an all-time low. And the worst thing is -- GameFreak randomly just goes back to two versions per generation to artificially make it more difficult to fill out that PokéDex, in ADDITION to leaning on their marketability, PLUS DLC, PLUS slicing that same DLC in two halves to put in each version respectively, which causes the consumer to effectively pay the price that would normally be reserved for an enhanced third version like Crystal, Emerald or Platinum. And I think that this practice is in itself scummy, because you'd feel like you've been betrayed.
This happened several times to me -- one time when I got Pearl for my DS, and another when I got Ruby on a physical GBA cartridge, only to discover that Emerald is the objective better Hoenn experience.
