ok so... yeah? I generally don't talk much about myself because... meh? it's none of your business really? (no hard feelings - i just don't feel like sharing everything about myself on the internet), I didn't even plan to acknowledge this 'situation' at all, because again: none of your business. But later on i thought of this gag with 'dread pirate captain Fingerprint now flying under different flag' and i just had to sketch it because i found it funny or something!
For anyone who has been watching me for a while, this probably won't come as a complete surprise, but believe it or not, i was very surprised when i realized this... This won't change much for you really, I didn't mind drawing gay/LGBT stuff before, I won't mind now.
so that is that - small personal sketch - very personal considering it refers to my person? - As i've said: i kind of was on the fence when it comes 'whether is should post it at all, and update my bio' as i was worried about "what if someone who knows me 'IRL' will find this site?" but then i thought to myself: "if they do, i'll be already compromised beyond belief, thus I might as well be hanged for a sheep as for a lamb".
OK! ENOUGH! AS PER LAST PANEL I'M ACTUALLY STILL KIND OF EMBARRASSED AND I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT THAT MUCH!
I only mostly reached 'at peace with it' state, but i don't want to pick at that scab, as it's still kind of fresh...

When you say "ok so... yeah? I generally don't talk much about myself because... meh? it's none of your business really?" Thats a very healthy mindset to have, I feel like its just modern social pressure to just say private stuff about yourself publicly honestly.

I love this as someone who's a veteran sailing dragoness and find it amusing and relatable. I can understand your concerns but remember there is nothing wrong about being yourself and being you. Just be you and don't let people be a pain and force you to be someone you are not. That is very wrong. It takes courage to stand up to your values and choices. But it is something worth fighting for.
As lord Admiral Nelson once said: No captain can do very wrong if he places his ship alongside that of the enemy.
That I do and I won't hesitate to give a full broadside when it is needed. There are times where you have to stick up for yourself even in wild and crazy times like these.
