WIP developmental pencil sketch of Sasha the cheetah, one of my feline characters. First major art attempt I've pursued in 6 months. Not sure how far I want to take this with traditional media before transferring it over to digital for the finish. The scanner did not pick up all the light pencil lines here, but shows enough for a progress pic. The color portion of this project will prove to be quite a challenge for me, as this feline is a colorful character, and color/inking is still a new, underdeveloped skill to me. Not to mention the background. But I will do it!

Hey, thank you! I put this up tonight in my scraps as a work in progress... I just happened to go back to double check the accuracy of what I wrote in the description, and was surprised to see that there was already a comment on it! Just wondering how you found it so soon, I didn't think FA included scrap images in their watch list "new submissions" thingy, but maybe they do... unless you just happened to be perusing my scraps section.
Anyway, thank you very much for the complement on the paws! I'm glad that you find them appealing. It's really important to me how they look, and that they are done a certain way- not an insignificant detail to overlook. I'm into paws, I guess!
