Clutching the crucifix, the cat was on the brink of crying again. He felt unworthy of his Lord’s sacrifice. The thought of a higher power sacrificing His life for a wretch like him made the feline emotional. Though his mistakes have not left his mind, he is glad that his Lord is full of love and understanding. With that in mind, he looks to the future with a fresh set of eyes.
“And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:20 | NRSV
